NABH accredited Eye Hospital

Probal Eye Institute is an advanced comprehensive eye care centre rendering state of the art eye treatment facilities for more than 30years. It has a 4 bedded Day Care centre with modern eye operation theatre and OPD services. There are facilities for Phacoemulsification cataract surgery, Laser treatment and specialized treatment for glaucoma and retinal disorders.

This institution was founded by Late Padmashree Dr. Anutosh Datta, Ex- Sheriff of Calcutta.

Presently Dr. Vivek Datta FRCS, DO, MRCOphth an eminent eye surgeon, is the Director cum chief Eye Surgeon of the organization.

Dr. Vivek Datta completed MBBS from Calcutta National Medical College, University of Calcutta in May 1986. Then he went to Ireland for post graduate education & training.
